Broadway estates

 

 

 

Discussion

Fred Kasten stated that sine the County does not have a zoning district for what is down at Broadway Estates, they want to rezone Broadway estates  and give them a Conditional use permit for the campers.  The town is to decide on what the county is going to recommend and have the committee look at it and decide if we should send a representative to the hearing and if the town should also have them get a Conditional Use Permit.  Dan Hill and Bruce Gunther were present to represent Broadway Estates.  They stated they have 80 acres total and they have 15 investors.  They have had this property since the early 1970’s, they have strict rules and they have incorporated.  Fred feels the whole 80A should not be rezoned.  He recommended that they go out and get GPS coordinates and some description of the property and where the campers are. 

 

Conclusions

The town has no jurisdiction over this property, for it is Flood way and under the County.  Fred Kasten will attend the Public hearing on September 28th.

Conditional use for Roger Kasuboski

 

Discussion

Kasuboski has a building without a Conditional Use permit and a Building permit.  A registered letter was previously sent, but though miscommunication, he understood he did not need one and did not apply.  Kasten said the building is sitting on piling ties and it is not a permanent building, for he plans on moving it next year to a slab.  He is not planning on building a house right away. Larry Hildebrand stated he feels that he needs a Conditional use permit for a temporary building.  Kasten will have to check the definitions of a temporary structure. 

conclusions

Send the property owner a letter stating the sections in our zoning ordinance that he is in violation (section 2.085).  He will have 7 business days to apply for a Conditional Use Permit.  Anytime after this he will be fined $50/day and legal action will take place.  He can not get a building permit until he has a conditional use permit.

review of dog, no wake and ORDINANCES

 

Discussion

Kasten stated he did not think that we have to change our dog ordinance.  We should have a job description of our animal control officer and have it approved by the town board.  Dean Kaderabek sent a request for bouys, etc for the no wake ordinance, but he has not heard anything back yet.  Hendricks has a few townships public nuisance ordinances for junk.  She will make copies for the committee members for them to view and then discuss the topic at the next meeting.

 

conclusions

Hendricks will inquire about other townships and the WTA for a job description on an animal officer and the state statues on animal control.

Discussion

Kasten stated that the Haedt farm will be offered for sale.  40A where the buildings are is in A1 and the other 40A is A2.  They will be splitting the homestead and will need to be rezoned.  Ron Gehrke wants to build a house on a couple acres that is on A1, so that will be needed to take a look at.  Tom Schuster is selling his business and he has been sent a conditional use permit application.
